Paris 20ème
The 20th arrondissement is one of the 20 arrondissements that make up the city of Paris and is located on the right bank of the River Seine. It contains the districts of Menilmontant and Belleville and is a largely residential area which has seen a great influx of immigration since the 19th century, part of which was Chinese, leading to the 20th having the 2nd largest Chinatown in Paris (in Belleville). The 20th is also known for having the Pere Lachaise Cemetery where many famous French composers, writers and painters are buried. The 20th used to be an old working class area but is seeing significant transformation with plenty of nightclubs, cafes and bars playing a wide variety of music.
